गुरुग्राम के मण्डलायुक्त आरसी बिढान की अध्यक्षता में बुधवार को लघु सचिवालय स्थित कॉन्फ्रेंस हॉल में मॉक ड्रिल के लिए टेबल टॉप अभ्यास बैठक का आयोजन हुआ। वहीं वीडियों कॉन्फ्रेंस से मल्टी स्टेट मेगा मॉक ड्रिल में शामिल क्षेत्रों के प्रतिनिधि भी बैठक में शामिल हुए। मण्डल आयुक्त आरसी बिढान ने कहा कि किसी भी प्रकार की प्राकृतिक आपदा से बेहतर तरीके से निपटने के लिए मॉक ड्रिल बेहद जरूरी है, जिससे हम अपनी तैयारियों का आंकलन तथा समीक्षा कर सकते हैं। विभिन्न प्रकार की आपदाओं के समय किये जाने वाले बचाव के उपायों आदि की पड़ताल का यह अच्छा अवसर होता है। इसमें विभिन्न विभाग मिलकर कार्य करते हैं। उन्होंने टेबल टॉप अभ्यास बैठक में शामिल एनडीआरएफ, एसडीआरएफ, पुलिस और अन्य विभागों के जिला अधिकारियों को मॉक ड्रिल को लेकर आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए। बैठक में अधिकारियों ने आपदा के समय नुकसान का आकलन कैसे किया जाए, इस पर विचार-विमर्श किया, ताकि आपदा प्रतिक्रिया और राहत अभियान के लिए संसाधनों का आवंटन किया जा सके।
एडीसी विश्राम कुमार मीणा ने बताया कि मॉक ड्रिल के लिए गुरुग्राम में 5 स्थानों को चिन्हित किया गया है। जिसमें राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय सेक्टर-4 व 7, नागरिक अस्पताल सेक्टर-10, लघु सचिवालय, हीरो मोटोकॉर्प व आरडी सिटी का चयन किया गया है। इन सभी स्थानों पर एक-एक इंसिडेंट कमाण्डर की नियुक्ति की गई है।
