सोहना नगर परिषद विभाग विकास कार्यों पर लाखों रुपए की राशि खर्च करेगा। जिसमें सड़कें, नालिया, रिपेयर कार्य आदि शामिल है। जिनके लिए जल्द ही पार्षदों से कार्यों की सूची मांगी जाएगी। उक्त प्रस्ताव की मंजूरी परिषद बोर्ड ने दे दी है। इसके अलावा नगर परिषद के अंतर्गत वार्ड बंदी के नक्शे भी तैयार कराए जाएंगे। जिससे वार्ड सीमाओं का आसानी से पता चल सके। बैठक में कुल 18 प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दी गई है। जिसमें सभी पार्षदों ने हिस्सा लिया था। बैठक दो से ढाई घंटे तक चली थी।बुधवार को सोहना नगर परिषद बोर्ड की आम बैठक परिषद सभागार में शांतिपूर्वक संपन्न हो गई है। चुनावों के पश्चात यह परिषद बोर्ड की पहली बैठक थी। जिसमें कुल 18 प्रस्तावों को सर्वसम्मति से मंजूरी दे दी गई है। जिन पर सभी पार्षदों ने सहमति जता दी है। बोर्ड बैठक की अध्यक्षता परिषद कार्यवाहक उप चेयरपर्सन रीना देवी द्वारा की गई थी। बैठक 12 बजे आरंभ की गई थी। आयोजित पहली बैठक में सभी पार्षदों ने अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई। तत्पश्चात परिषद कार्यकारी अधिकारी ने एजेंडे अनुसार प्रस्तावों को पार्षदों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया। पहले एजेंडे में गत दिनों आयोजित बैठक की पुष्टि का था। जिसको सर्वसम्मति से मंजूरी दे दी गई है। दूसरे प्रस्ताव के तहत परिषद ने 7 अवैध कॉलोनियों को मंजूरी के लिए सरकार के पास भेजा है। जिसमें मोहन नगर, एमटेक जखोपुर,सीफोर धूनेला,एमटेक जखोपुर एक्सटेंशन,सी8 लाखूवास, सी11सोहना, सी13 सोहना शामिल है। परिषद अपने कार्यों के लिए एक गाड़ी भी किराए पर लेगी तथा सफाई व्यवस्था को दुरुस्त रखने के लिए ट्रैक्टर ट्रॉली की खरीद करेगी। परिषद बोर्ड ने स्लाटर हाउस में पड़े कबाड़े को भी नीलाम करने का निर्णय लिया है।
