सोहना सिखों के पहले गुरु, नानक देव जी की जयंती सोहना में आज 8 नवंबर 2022 को बड़े ही धूमधाम से मनाई गई।इस अवसर पर हर वर्ष की भांति गुरुद्वारा सिंह सभा में शब्द कीर्तन का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें पलवल व दिल्ली से आई जत्था पार्टी में सरदार जगत सिंह,सरदार प्रकाश सिंह ने शबद कीर्तन किए और गुरु नानक देव की जयंती पर प्रकाश डाला। इससे पूर्व लगातार 1 नवंबर से 8 नवंबर सुबह 4:00 से 7:00 तक भिन्न-भिन्न जगह से होते हुए प्रभात फेरी निकाली ।जहां सिख संगत के पदाधिकारियों ने अपने अपने आवास पर सुबह चाय पान की व्यवस्था भी रखी। इस मौके पर प्रधान संत सिंह ने बताया सुबह शब्द कीर्तन की समाप्ति के बाद अटूट लंगर का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें सैकड़ों लोगों की संख्या में गुरुद्वारा सिंह सभा में प्रसाद छका। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रत्येक वर्ष कार्तिक माह के शुक्ल पक्ष की पूर्णिमा तिथि पर गुरु नानक जयंती मनाई जाती है। इस दिन को सिख समुदाय के लोग धूमधाम से मनाते हैं। इस दिन को प्रकाश पर्व और गुरु पर्व के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। साथ ही गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब पाठ किया जाता है। लोग हर्षोल्लास के साथ गुरु नानक जी का जन्मदिन मनाते हैं और एक दूसरे को बधाइयां देते हैं। इस मौके पर प्रधान सरदार संत सिंह,उप प्रधान सरदार अमृत सिंह,सरदार गुरमुख सिंह,सरदार मक्खन सिंह,सरदार अनोक सिंह,सरदार जसवंत सिंह,सरदार सुंदर सिंहजसबीर सिंह ,जगत सिंह, प्रेंम सिंह, गुरबचन कृपाल सिंह गुरदेव सिंह जोगिंदर सिंह, निशांत सिंह,मांन सिंहओमप्रकाश सांवरिया सूंदर सिंह आदि मोजूद थे।
