यशपाल बतरा ने कहा कि भाजपा सरकार ने गुरुग्राम में कई हजार करोड़ रुपये के विकास कार्य कराए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार बिना भेदभाव के विकास कराने में ही विश्वास रखती है। मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल भी खुद कह चुके हैं कि विकास कार्यों पर खर्च करने के लिए खजाना भरा पड़ा है।
बतरा ने कहा कि कांग्रेस के समय में हर रोज लोग शहर के किसी न किसी इलाके में बिजली और पानी को लेकर जाम लगा देते थे। उन्होंने कहा कि 2014 के बाद से भाजपा की सरकार ने गुरुग्राम शहर से बिजली और पानी का संकट खत्म कर दिया। आज 24 घंटे बिजली दी जा रही है और पानी के लिए लोगों को परेशान नहीं होना पड़ रहा। श्री बतरा ने बताया कि मनोहर सरकार ने अवैध कालोनियों को वैध करने प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है, ताकि शहर का एक समान विकास हो सके।
