गुरुग्राम, प्रदेश के गुरुग्राम, फरीदाबाद व मानेसर नगर निगम के चुनावों की सुगबुगाहट तेज हो गई है। भावी पार्षद का सपना संजोये इच्छाधारी नेता चुनावी रण में उतरकर जोर आजमाईश कर रहे हैं और जनता के बीच पहुंचकर अपनी खूबियों का जोरदार तरीके से बखान भी कर रहे हैं। हालांकि चुनावों की तिथि की अभी कोई विधिवत घोषणा नहीं हुई है, लेकिन राजनैतिक दल अभी से ही अपनी जमीन मजबूत करने में जुट गए हैं। फिलहाल सूत न कपास, जुलाहों में ल_म-ल_ा जैसे हाल है फिर भी पार्षद चुनाव लडऩे के इच्छाधारियों ने घुंघरू बांध लिए हैं और मैदान में उतर गए हैं। नगर निगम मानेसर का भी पहली बार गठन किया गया है, जहां पहली बार चुनाव होने हैं। ऐसे में नगर निगम मानेसर के लिए चुनावों की घोषणा कभी भी हो सकती है। प्रदेश के अधिकांश राजनैतिक दलों की निगाह गुरुग्राम नगर निगम चुनाव पर टिकी हुई है कि कैसे भी करके यह चुनाव जीता जाए। गत दिवस भाजपा द्वारा आयोजित की गई बैठक में महापौर व पार्षद पदों के लिए आवेदन करने वालों की झड़ी लग गई। बताया जाता है कि 170 पदाधिकारियों ने भाजपा का उम्मीदवार बनने की दावेदारी की है। बताया जाता है कि महापौर का चुनाव लडऩे के इच्छुक 14 लोगों ने बायोडाटा जमा कराया है। कुछ निवर्तमान पार्षद भी फिर से चुनाव लडऩे के इच्छुक हैं। कुछ नेता अपने आकाओं के यहां भी हाजिरी लगा रहे हैं, ताकि उन्हें मेयर या पार्षद टिकट मिल ही जाए। हालांकि कहा तो यह भी जा रहा है कि इनकी संख्या में वृद्धि हो सकती है। महापौर प्रत्याशी के नाम पर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री की सहमति से ही भाजपा शीर्ष नेतृत्व की ओर से मुहर लगनी है। बताया जाता है कि चुनाव कराने की घोषणा दस फरवरी के पहले की जा सकती है। इस बार नगर निगम में 35 से 40 वार्ड कर दिए गए हैं, जिससे वार्डों रुपरेखा पूरी तरह से बदल गई है।

इस बार गुरुग्राम नगर निगम के मतदाता सीधे तौर पर महापौर का चुनाव करेंगे। गत 2 कार्यकाल में महापौर, वरिष्ठ उप महापौर व उप महापौर का चुनाव चुने गए पार्षदों द्वारा किया जाता रहा है और पार्षदों का मान-मनोव्वल कर उन्हें मनाकर अपने गुट को मजबूत किया जाता, ताकि अपने पक्ष का महापौर बना सकें। लेकिन इस बार स्थिति इन सबके उलट है।

बताया जाता है कि नगर निगम गुरुग्राम के महापौर की दावेदारी के लिए अभी तक शहर के प्रमुख समाजसेवी व प्रदेश सरकार में सीएसआर ट्रस्ट के उपाध्यक्ष बोधराज सीकरी ने पेश की है। इसके अतिरिक्त भाजपा जिलाध्यक्ष गार्गी कक्कड़, निवर्तमान महापौर मधु आजाद, पूर्व वरिष्ठ उपमहापौर यशपाल बतरा, प्रदेश महिला आयोग की पूर्व उपाध्यक्षा सुमन दहिया, चकरपुर गांव के पूर्व सरपंच अनिल यादव, प्रदेश भाजपा ओबीसी मोर्चा की उपाध्यक्षा ऊषा प्रियदर्शी, निवर्तमान पार्षद कपिल दुआ, प्रमोद सलूजा, शामिल हैं। वहीं कांग्रेस के वर्धन यादव व जजपा के कुलदीप बोहरा भी मेयर पद की दावेदारी के लिए पूरे प्रयासों में जुटे हुए हैं।

नगर निगम गुरुग्राम व मानेसर में चुनाव को देखते हुए भाजपा संगठन पूरी तरह से सक्रिय हो गया था और संगठन ने गुरुग्राम के लिए जहां प्रदेश के स्थानीय निकाय मंत्री कमल गुप्ता को चुनाव प्रभारी की कमान सौंपी, वहीं प्रदेश के पूर्व शिक्षा मंत्री रामबिलास शर्मा को मानेसर चुनाव के लिए प्रभारी नियुक्त किया। दोनों ही प्रभारी अपने-अपने निगम क्षेत्रों में कार्यकर्ताओं की नब्ज टटोलने में लगे हैं।

बतादें कि गत वर्ष 2 नवम्बर को गुरुग्राम नगर निगम का कार्यकाल खत्म हो गया था। वर्ष 2017 में हुए गुरुग्राम नगर निगम के चुनाव में भाजपा को भारी नुकसान उठाना पड़ा था। इस चुनाव में राजनैतिक दलों के उम्मीदवारों की बजाय निर्दलीयों ने बाजी मारी थी। 35 वॉर्ड में हुए इन चुनावों में भाजपा के केवल 13 पार्षद उम्मीदवार विजय हासिल कर पाए थे, जबकि 21 सीटों पर निर्दलीयों ने कब्जा जमा लिया था। इसके अतिरिक्त एक सीट पर इंडियन नेशनल लोकदल के उम्मीदवार ने जीत दर्ज की थी।
