गुरुग्राम। एक व्यापारी से एक करोड़ रुपये की फिरोती मांगने के एक आरोपी को पुलिस ने दबोच लिया है। उसने बीती 10 जनवरी 2023 को व्यापारी के घर के गेट पर एक लिफाफे में फिरोती देने की चिट्ठी डाली थी। आरोपी को व्यापारी के घर-परिवार की पूरी जानकारी थी। वह पहले उनकी गाड़ी पर ड्राइवर था। 11 जनवरी को सेक्टर-14 निवासी एक व्यापारी ने पुलिस थाना सेक्टर-14 में शिकायत देकर कहा था कि 10 जनवरी 2023 को सुबह इसके मकान के गेट पर इसके ड्राईवर को एक लिफाफा मिला, जिसमें अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने 11 जनवरी 2023 तक उसको 1 करोड़ रुपये दे। रुपये ना देने की सूरत में उसको व उसके परिवार को जान से मार दिया जाएगा। उस अज्ञात पत्र में यह भी लिखा था कि रुपयों का इंतजाम होने के बाद यह (शिकायतकर्ता) अपनी कम्पनी के गेट पर झंडा लगाएगा, ताकि ये समझ जाए कि रुपयों का इंतजाम हो गया है। इस शिकायत पर पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ केस दर्ज कर लिया। अपराध शाखा सेक्टर-17 प्रभारी निरीक्षक नरेंद्र ने अपनी पुलिस टीम के साथ इस शिकायत पर तत्परता से कार्यवाही शुरू की। आरोपी को 15 जनवरी 2023 को इफ्को चौक से गिरफ्तार किया गया। आरोपी की पहचान संदीप त्यागी उर्फ जितेन्द्र (32) के रूप में हुई। वह 12वीं पास है। आरोपी संदीप त्यागी ने बताया कि वह शिकायतकर्ता की कम्पनी में आरोपी एक गाड़ी पर चालक की नौकरी करता था। मई-2022 में वह नौकरी छोड़कर चला गया था। वह कम्पनी के मालिक (शिकायतकर्ता/पीडि़त) के घर व घर के सभी सदस्यों के बारे में जानता था कि कौन किस समय कहां जाता है। उसने आसानी से बड़ी रकम प्राप्त करने की नीयत से वारदात को अंजाम दिया।
