गुरुग्राम। अहीर रेजीमेंट बनाने की मांग को लेकर पिछले करीब चार महीने से यहां खेड़कीदौला टोल प्लाजा के पास धरने पर बैठे लोगों ने दिल्ली-जयपुर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या-48 को जाम करने का प्रयास किया। इस दौरान वहां तैनात पुलिस फोर्स से उनकी भिड़ंत हो गई। आंदोलनकारियों को हाइवे से हटाने के लिए पुलिस ने प्रयास तेज किए तो पुलिस के साथ झड़प हो गई। पुलिस पर पथराव भी किया गया। जवाब में पुलिस ने भी उन पर लाठियां भांजी और कईयों को हिरासत में लिया। आंदोलन का समर्थन करने पहुंचे सिंगर राहुल फाजिलपुरिया भी हिरासत में लिए गए। खेड़कीदौला टोल प्लाजा के पास धरने पर अहीर रेजीमेंट बनाने की मांग को लेकर धरना दिया जा रहा है। उनकी मांग को लेकर अनेक नेताओं ने समर्थन किया है। पक्ष-विपक्ष के नेता धरने पर पूर्व में आ चुके हैं। हरियाणा के अलावा कई अन्य राज्यों के लोगों ने भी अहीर रेजीमेंट बनाने की मांग का समर्थन किया है। काफी समय से धरना शांतिपूर्वक चल रहा था। पूर्व निर्धारित कार्यक्रम के तहत शुक्रवार को धरनास्थल पर सेंकड़ों लोग जुटे और टोल प्लाजा के पास हाईवे को जाम करने पहुंचे। नारेबाजी करते हुए सभी टोल फ्री कराने के लिए गए। इसी दौरान वहां तैनात भी पुलिस बल ने उन्हें रोकने का प्रयास किया। पुलिस किसी भी कीमत पर सड़क जाम नहीं करने देना चाहती थी। अगर वे सड़क जाम करने में कामयाब हो जाते तो फिर जाम की धमक दिल्ली तक पहुंचती। राष्ट्रीय-राजमार्ग संख्या-48 पर कई किलोमीटर तक दोनों ओर जाम लग जाता। इससे पहले भी इसी तरह का प्रदर्शन करके सड़क को जाम किया गया था। इस बार पुलिस ऐसा नहीं होने देना चाहती थी। इसलिए पूरी तैनाती थी। अहीर रेजीमेंट संघर्ष समिति के नेताओं के आह्वान पर काफी संख्या में युवा, किशोर भी यहां प्रदर्शन करने पहुंचे। प्रदर्शनकारियों को शांतिपूर्वक प्रदर्शन करने पर तो पुलिस ने नरमी बरती, लेकिन उनके तेवरों को देखकर पुलिस ने सक्रियता बढ़ाई। पुलिस आंदोलनकारियों को आगे बढऩे से रोकती रही और वे जबरदस्ती करके आगे बढऩे का प्रयास करते रहे। इसी दौरान दोनों तरफ से तनाव बढ़ गया। हालात बेकाबू से होते नजर आए। आंदोलनकारी नहीं माने और पुलिस के साथ उनकी झड़प हो गई। आंदोलनकारियों का नेतृत्व कर रहे संघर्ष समिति के नेताओं और युवाओं को पुलिस ने हिरासत में लेना शुरू कर दिया। पुलिस ने बाकी प्रदर्शनकारियों पर भी सख्ती दिखाई और उन्हें खदेड़ा जाने लगा। गुस्साए लोगों ने पुलिस पर ही पथराव करा शुरू कर दिया। इसमें पुलिसकर्मी घायल हो गए। हालात बेकाबू होते देख पुलिस की दो और बटालियन मौके पर भेजी गई। शुक्रवार को दिल्ली-जयपुर हाइवे जाम करने के लिए क्षेत्र के कलाकारों से भी आग्रह किया गया था। इस आग्रह पर सिंगर राहुल फाजिलपुरिया मौके पर पहुंचे थे। जैसे ही वे हाइवे जाम करने के लिए आंदोलनकारियों के साथ आगे बढ़े तो पुलिस ने अन्य लोगों के साथ उन्हें भी हिरासत में ले लिया। हालांकि उन्हें बाद में रिहा कर दिया गया। संघर्ष समिति की तरफ से कहा गया कि अहीर रेजीमेंट उनका हक है। यह आंदोलन रेजीमेंट के गठन होने तक जारी रहेगा। आंदोलन को और अधिक मजबूती देने के लिए फिर से दूसरे राज्यों का सहारा लिया जाएगा।
