फरीदाबाद, पर्यटन विभाग के प्रधान सचिव एमडी सिन्हा ने कहा कि तीन फरवरी से शुरू होने वाला अंतरराष्ट्रीय सूरजकुंड मेला इस बार अन्य वर्षों की अपेक्षा ज्यादा भव्य व विशाल होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि मेले में बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटकों के आगमन को देखते हुए इस बार मेले में टिकटों की बिक्री में पारदर्शिता पर पूरा ध्यान रखा जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रत्येक टिकट पर होलोग्राम लगाया जाएगा। इससे न तो डुप्लीकेट टिकट तैयार होगी और न ही फोटोस्टेट हो सकेगी। श्री सिन्हा शुक्रवार को होटल राजहंस में अंतरराष्ट्रीय सूरजकुंड मेला की तैयारियों को लेकर विभिन्न विभागों की समीक्षा मीटिंग आयोजित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि जी-20 समिट के चलते इस बार मेले में विदेशी मेहमानों की संख्या दोगुनी होगी। ऐसे में एंबेसडर मीट दो दिन होगी। जी-20 से संबंधित देशों के राजदूत 9 फरवरी को आएंगे और एससीओ से संबंधित देशों के राजदूतों के दौरे के लिए जल्द ही तिथि घोषित कर दी जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि सूरजकुंड मेला हमारे देश की मजबूत सांस्कृतिक विरासत का प्रतीक है। ऐसे में हमें मेले में किसी भी तरह की तैयारियों को लेकर कमी नहीं रखनी है। उन्होंने कहा कि मेले में इस बार 45 देशों के विदेशी कलाकार हिस्सा लेंगे जिससे विदेशी कलाकारों की संख्या भी पिछले वर्षों की अपेक्षा दोगुनी रहेगी। उन्होंने बताया कि नॉर्थ ईस्ट के आठ स्टेट हिस्सा ले रहे हैं। ऐसे में इन सभी राज्यों से कलाकार आएंगे। इसके साथ ही वीआईपी भी ज्यादा संख्या में रहेंगे। इनमें नॉर्थ ईस्ट के आठ राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्री व राज्यपाल भी आएंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि इस दौरान एक दिन विदेशी पत्रकारों का एक दल भी सूरजकुंड मेला परिसर का भ्रमण करेगा। उन्होंने मेले के दौरान पार्किंग व्यवस्था अतिरिक्त करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने जीएम रोडवेज को निर्देश दिए कि प्रात: आठ बजे से फरीदाबाद, आईएसबीटी दिल्ली व गुरुग्राम से लगातार बसों के फेरे मेला परिसर के लिए लगाए जाएंगे। उन्होंने पार्किंग में दिक्कत आने पर अतिरिक्त क्रेन की व्यवस्था करने और अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल नियुक्त करने के निर्देश भी दिए।
