पुलिस थाना डीएलएफ. फेस-3 में एक व्यक्ति ने शिकायत दी कि बम्बल ऐप पर चेटिंग करते हुए बीनीता कुमारी नामक एक युवती से उसकी दोस्ती हुई थी। 28 मई 2023 को उस युवती ने उसे सेक्टर-23 गुरुग्राम में एक होटल में ले जाकर उसे बियर पीने के लिए उत्साहित किया। उसने कुछ गलत होने का आभास होने पर बियर पीने से इन्कार कर दिया व होटल से बाहर आ गया। बाद में उस युवती ने फोन करके कहा कि उसके द्वारा उसके साथ गलत व्यवहार व छेड़छाड़ की गई थी। युवती ने उसके खिलाफ थाना डीएलएफ फेज-3 में शिकायत देने की धमकी देकर डराया। उसके बाद उसने अपने एक साथी के साथ मिलकर उससे 5 लाख रुपए देने की मांग की। बाद में 2 लाख रुपयों में मामला तय हुआ। अब 7 जून 2023 को पीडि़त ने उस युवती के साथी को 50 हजार रुपए दे दिए। बाकी के रुपए शाम के समय देने का आश्वासन दिया। उसके बाद पीडि़त ने पुलिस थाना डीएलएफ फेज-3 में शिकायत दे दी।एसीपी डीएलएफ विकास कौशिक, एसीपी ईस्ट डा. कविता व एसीपी पटौदी हरेंद्र ङ्क्षसह के नेतृत्व में टीम गठित की गई। टीम ने बीनीता नामक युवती के साथी को बाकी रुपये लेते साईं मंदिर के पास मोलसरी मार्केट से रंगे हाथों काबू किया। आरोपी युवक की पहचान महेश फोगाट निवासी गांव भालोट जिला रोहतक के रूप में हुई है। उससे 50 हजार रुपये की नकदी भी बरामद कर ली गई। युवक को काबू करने के बाद आरोपी युवती बनीता कुमारी को भी काबू कर लिया गया। पूछताछ में खुलासा हुआ कि युवती मूल रूप से बिहार की रहने वाली है। वह एक प्राइवेट आईटी कम्पनी में बतौर एडवाईजर काम करती है। वर्तमान में गुरुग्राम में ही रहती है। इस युवती का साथी आरोपी महेश फोगाट दिल्ली में एक एनजीओ चलाता है। दोनों आरोपियों द्वारा जालसाजी करके डेटिंग/चेटिंग ऐप के माध्यम से पीडि़त के साथ दोस्ती करने व उसे होटल में बुलाकर उस पर छेड़छाड़/अभद्र व्यवहार करने झूठे आरोप लगाकर रुपए ऐंठने पर केस दर्ज किया गया है। उनसे 50 हजार रुपये नकदी के अलावा दो मोबाइल फोन भी बरामद किए गए हैं।
