सोहना मंगलवार को सोहना पंचायत समिति के चैयरपर्सन व वाइज चैयरपर्सन पद का चुनाव शांति पूर्ण सम्पन्न हो गया। ! पंचायत समिति चुनाव नए एसडीएम प्रदीप कुमार की अध्यक्षता मे कराया गया! जहां वार्ड नम्बर 13 से आशा रानी धर्मपत्नी विक्रांत डागर को ब्लॉक समति चैयरपर्सन व वार्ड नम्बर 9 से संजू तोमर धर्मपत्नी महेश खटाना को ब्लॉक समिति का उप चेयर पर्सन चुन लिया गया। चुनाव सर्व सम्मति से कराया गया।जबकि चुनाव रिटर्निंग अधिकारी द्वारा ई वी एम से चुनाव कराने की तैयारी भी थी।चेयरपर्सन व वाइज चेयरपर्सन के लिये ब्लॉक समिति के चुनाव में पहुंचे मेंबरों ने अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज करवाई। जहां एस डी एम प्रदीप कुमार का कहना है कि सोहना पँचायत समिति चेयरपर्सन व उप चैयरपर्सन पद का चुनाव पहले भी तीन बार स्थागित हो चुका था ! मंगलवार को चुनाव खण्ड व पँचायत कार्यालय में निर्धारित किया गया । जिसके लिए सभी सदस्यों को प्रातः 11 बजे का समय तय किया था। जहां 14 सदस्यों में 9 सदस्य मोजूद थे ।कुछ मेम्बरों की अनुपस्थिति के कारण चुनाव 12 बजे संम्पन्न हुआ! जहां वार्ड नम्बर 13 से आशा रानी धर्मपत्नी विकास कुमार को ब्लॉक समति चैयरपर्सन व वार्ड नम्बर 9 से संजू दैवी धर्मपत्नी महेश खटाना को ब्लॉक समिति मेम्बरों के द्वारा सर्व सम्मति से चुना लिया गया ! चुनावी स्थल पर किसी भी आपदा से निबटने के लिए पुलिस के जवान तैनात थे।
