होडल। नगर परिषद सफाई कर्मचारियों ने स्थानीय विधायक जगदीश नायर के अनुपस्थिति में प्रतिनिधि राहुल नायर को शिकायत पत्र देकर नगर परिषद प्रशासन पर जबरन रात को काम कराने का आरोप लगाया है। कर्मचारियों ने नगरपालिका कर्मचारी यूनियन की ओर से शिकायत देते हुए नगर परिषद प्रशासन के आला अधिकारियों की तुगलकी फरमान से निजात दिलाने की मांग कि है। हस्ताक्षर युक्त पत्र के माध्यम से उन्होंने बताया कि रात को शहर की गलियों और सड़कों पर आवारा, नशाखोर, शराबियों असामाजिक तत्वों का भय बना रहता है। महिला कर्मचारियों के साथ होनी अनहोनी होने का अंदेशा बना रहता है। ऐसे में कोई भी कर्मचारी रात्रि समय में जबरन कार्य करने का इच्छुक नहीं हैं। कभी भी किसी प्रकार का हादसा हो सकता है।उन्होंने इसे नगर परिषद अधिकारियों के अंग्रेजी शासन का तुगलकी फरमान बताया है। उन्होंने विधायक जगदीश नायर से उक्त समस्या से छुटकारा दिलाने की मांग रखते हुए दिन के समय काम कराने का अनुरोध किया है। उक्त शिकायत की प्रति नगर निकाय निदेशक हरियाणा, जिला नगर आयुक्त पलवल, जिला उपायुक्त पलवल, उपमंडल अधिकारी नागरिक होडल को प्रेषित की है। उक्त मामले में सफाई इंस्पेक्टर उमेश से संपर्क किया गया तो उन्होंने बताया कि किसी कर्मचारी से कोई जबरन कार्य नहीं लिया जाता है। कर्मचारियों से केवल आठ घंटे ही कार्य कराया जाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमने किसी भी महिला एवं बुजुर्ग कर्मचारियों को रात्रि के समय काम पर नहीं लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि जबरन कहने का औचित्य क्या है जब किसी से समयावधि से अलावा काम लिया जाता है उसे जबरन कहा जाता है, जबकि यहां ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं है। बात रात को काम कराने वाली है तो यह प्रावधान है इसमें आम नागरिक भी खुश हैं कि सुबह सड़कें और गलियां साफ मिलती है और बारिश में जलभराव की स्थिति पैदा नहीं होती है। उन्होंने बताया कि यह समस्या कुछ दिनों की है शीघ्र ही टेंडर प्रक्रिया शुरू हो रही है।
