पलवल, राष्ट्रीय बाल स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम के तत्वावधान में सिविल सर्जन डॉ लोकवीर सिंह के मार्ग दर्शन व डिप्टी सिविल सर्जन व आरबीएसके कार्यक्रम की नोडल अधिकारी डॉ रामेश्वरी के नेतृत्व में मंगलवार को क्लब फुट विकृति से ग्रस्त बच्चों के लिए निःशुल्क शिविर लगाया गया। शिविर में 10 क्लब फुट से ग्रस्त बच्चों के पैर के पंजों का इलाज किया गया। डिप्टी सिविल सर्जन डॉ रामेश्वरी ने बताया कि क्लब फुट (पैर के पंजों का अन्दर की तरफ मुड़ा होना यानि टेढे पैर) एक ऐसी जन्मजात विकृति है, जिसके कारण बच्चा बड़ा होने पर चलने- फिरने, दौड़ लगाने व शारीरिक रूप ने कार्य करने में असमर्थ रहता है। वह किसी भी योग व दौड़ प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने में सक्षम नहीं रहता। उन्होंने बताया कि जन्मजात क्लब फुट विकृति के इलाज होने के बाद बच्चा बिल्कुल ठीक हो जाता है और वह चलने फिरने, दौड़ लगाने, खेलने तथा हर कार्य को करने में सक्षम हो जाता है। डॉ साक्षी शर्मा ने बताया कि राष्ट्रीय बाल स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत जिला नागरिक अस्पताल पलवल के डीईआईसी में हर सोमवार को डीईआईसी व गैर सरकारी संस्था अनुष्का फाउंडेशन के संयुक्त सहयोग से क्लब फुट क्लीनिक चलाया जा रहा है। नोडल अधिकारी डॉ संदीप सोनी की देखरेख में क्लब फुट से ग्रस्त बच्चों को कास्ट यानि प्लास्टर लगाए जाते हैं तथा अनुष्का फाउंडेशन संस्था द्वारा निःशुल्क ब्रास (जूते) प्रदान किए जाते हैं।
डीईआईसी प्रबंधक डॉ साक्षी शर्मा ने बताया कि फिजियोथैरेपिस्ट डॉ लितेश मलिक द्वारा भी बच्चों को कास्ट यानि प्लास्टर लगाए जाते हैं। डीईआईसी प्रबंधक डॉ साक्षी शर्मा ने बताया कि पिछले 4 साल में 2019 से दिसंबर 2022 तक यानि कि वर्ष 2019 में 66, वर्ष 2020 में 28, वर्ष 2021 में 39 व वर्ष 2022 में 20 कुल 153 जन्मजात क्लब फुट से ग्रस्त बच्चों का इलाज किया जा चुका है। हाल ही में 10 जन्मजात क्लब फुट विकृति से ग्रस्त बच्चों का इलाज किया गया है। इस प्रकार अब तक लगभग 163 क्लब फुट से ग्रस्त बच्चों का सफलतापूर्वक इलाज किया जा चुका है। डॉ साक्षी शर्मा ने क्लब फुट विकृति से ग्रस्त बच्चों के इलाज के लिए अभिभावकों को डीईआईसी पलवल में संपर्क करने का आह्वान किया है।
