गुरूग्राम, नगर निगम गुरूग्राम के आयुक्त पीसी मीणा ने मंगलवार को बंधवाड़ी स्थित वेस्ट प्लांट का दौरा किया तथा अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए।श्री मीणा ने बंधवाड़ी पहुंचकर वेस्ट-टू-एनर्जी प्लांट के लिए खाली की गई जमीन को देखा तथा निगम अधिकारियों व इकोग्रीन एनर्जी के प्रतिनिधियों से कहा कि वेस्ट-टू-एनर्जी प्लांट स्थापना के कार्य में तेजी लाएं तथा निर्धारित समयावधि में इसे पूरा करें। उन्होंने लैगेसी वेस्ट के निस्तारण के लिए लगाए गए प्लांटों को भी देखा तथा संबंधित एजेंसियों व निगम अधिकारियों से कहा कि कचरा निस्तारण की क्षमता को और अधिक बढ़ाया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि सभी मशीने अपनी पूरी क्षमता के साथ कचरा निस्तारण का कार्य करें। इसके अलावा, गांव बंधवाड़ी को जाने वाली सडक़ के बारे में भी अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश निगमायुक्त द्वारा अधिकारियों को दिए गए।उल्लेखनीय है कि इकोग्रीन एनर्जी द्वारा बंधवाड़ी में 10 एकड़ जमीन पर 25 मेगावाट बिजली क्षमता के वेस्ट-टू-एनर्जी प्लांट की स्थापना की जा रही है। गुरूग्राम में स्थापित होने वाला यह देश का सबसे बड़ा प्लांट होगा। इससे गुरूग्राम व फरीदाबाद दोनों शहरों से निकलने वाले कचरे का बेहतर निस्तारण किया जाएगा। कचरे से प्रतिदिन 25 मेगावाट बिजली का उत्पादन होगा। इससे एक ओर जहां प्रतिदिन उत्पादित होने वाले कचरे का सही ढ़ंग से निपटान किया जाएगा, वहीं दूसरी ओर पहले से पड़े कचरे के निस्तारण का कार्य भी तेज गति से किया जा रहा है। वेस्ट-टू-एनर्जी प्लांट दो वर्ष में बनकर तैयार होने का अनुमान है। यह प्लांट अत्याधुनिक तकनीक पर आधारित होगा, जिसमें 750-750 टीपीडी क्षमता के दो बॉयलर, 25 मेगावाट क्षमता का एक टर्बो जनरेटर और नियंत्रण कक्ष होगा। इस मौके पर निगमायुक्त के साथ संयुक्त आयुक्त (स्वच्छ भारत मिशन) डा. नरेश कुमार, कार्यकारी अभियंता विशाल गर्ग, सहायक अभियंता कुलदीप यादव उपस्थित थे।
