31 दिसम्बर की रात को जिला गुरुग्राम के होटल, क्लब, रेस्टोरेंट, मॉल्स सहित विभिन्न स्थानों पर नव वर्षपर होने वाले कार्यक्रमों के दौरान असामाजिक तत्वों पर नजर रखने व शांति, कानून व व्यवस्था सुचारू रखने लिए विशेष प्रबंध किए गए हैं। गुरुग्राम में 100 से भी अधिक स्थानों पर नए साल के स्वागत में रंगारंग कार्यक्रम आयोजित होना संभावित है। कुछ स्थान पर जैसे सहारा मॉल, विपुल अगोरा बिल्डिंग, डीटी सिटी सेंटर मॉल, मेट्रोपोलिटन मॉल, ब्रिस्टल होटल, जेएमडी मॉल, एम्बियंस मॉल, किंगडम ऑफ ड्रीम्स सेक्टर-29, सेक्टर-29 हुड्डा ग्राउंड, गलेरिया मार्किट, डीएलएफ साउथ पॉइंट मॉल, गुड अर्थ मॉल, साइबर हब, सहारा ग्रेस चकरपुर रोड, नाका ब्रिस्टल चौक, नाका सिकंदरपुर, नाका इफ्को चौक व नाका वेस्टन होटल टी-पॉइंट आदि स्थानों पर अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल की तैनाती की गई है। इन स्थानों पर आने जाने वाली गाडिय़ों व लोगों पर पुलिस की पैनी नजर रहेगी। सभी डीसीपी, एसीपी, एसएचओ, यातायात पुलिस, अपराध शाखा समेत 4000 पुलिसकर्मियों की तैनात 31 दिसम्बर की रात को रहेगी। गुरुग्राम पुलिस के विशेष पुलिस बलों जैसे काउन्टर असाल्ट, पुलिस राइडर्स, पुलिस पीसीआर, क्रेन, फायर ब्रिगेड व एम्बुलेंस पुलिस टीमों को भी सभी सुरक्षा उपकरणों के साथ तैनात किया गया है।
पुलिस आयुक्त कला रामचन्द्रन ने कहा कि नये साल के जश्न में हुड़दंग करके अशान्ति व कानून व्यवस्था को प्रभावित करने वालों केखिलाफ सख्त कार्यवाही की जाएगी। शरारती व आपराधिक प्रवृति के लोगों पर नजर रखने के लिए सिविल ड्रेस में भी पुलिसकर्मियों को तैनात किया गया है। गुरुग्राम में पहले से ही लगे पुलिस नाकों के अतिरिक्त लगभग 60 नाके गुरुग्राम की सीमाओं व आयोजन स्थलों के आसपास लगाए गए हैं। ये सभी नाके कार्यक्रम समाप्त होने तक लगे रहेंगे।
