नूंह जिला मुख्यालय पर पिछले 7 दिनों से अपनी मांगों को लेकर बीडीपीओ कार्यालय के बाहर धरने पर बैठे सरपंचों ने सोमवार को बीडीपीओ कार्यालय में मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर, उपमुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला तथा पंचायत मंत्री देवेंद्र सिंह बबली का पुतला फूंका। साथ ही जमकर सरकार के खिलाफ नारे लगाए। उन्होंने कहा कि जब तक उनकी मांगें नहीं मानी जाती तब तक धरना प्रदर्शन जारी रहेगा। बता दें कि नूंह जिले में पुन्हाना, फिरोजपुर झिरका, नूंह, इंडरी सहित सभी 7 ब्लॉकों में सरपंच बीडीपीओ कार्यालय के बाहर धरने पर बैठे हैं। पूरे प्रदेश में ई-टेंडरिंग के विरोध में सरपंचों का धरना प्रदर्शन चल रहा है। नूंह जिले के सरपंचों का कहना जब तक सरकार हमारी मांगों को पूरा नहीं करती तब तक विरोध जारी रहेगा। सोमवार को स्टेट बॉडी के आदेश अनुसार बीडीपीओ कार्यालय में मुख्यमंत्री, उप मुख्यमंत्री तथा पंचायत मंत्री का पुतला फूंका गया। नूंह ब्लॉक सरपंच एसोसिएशन के प्रधान एवं प्रदेश प्रवक्ता रफीक हथोडी खेड़ला ने कहा कि स्टेट बॉडी के आदेश पर धरना स्थल पर सोमवार को पंचायत मंत्री देवेंद्र बबली, दुष्यंत चौटाला उपमुख्यमंत्री मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर का पुतला फूंका है। अगर सरकार समय रहते हमारी बातों पर अपनी सहमति नहीं बनाती है तो यह धरना ही तरह से जारी रहेगा। धरने पर बैठे सरपंचों ने सरकार से मांग करते हुए कहा कि सरपंचों द्वारा कराए जाने वाले विकास कार्यों की शक्ति 2 लाख से बढ़ाकर 30 लाख तक की जाए। 30 लाख तक के विकास कार्यो में ई टेंडरिगं प्रणाली को भी तुरंत बंद किया जाए। अगर सरकार ने उनकी मांगे नहीं मानी तो सरपंच एसोसिएशन का विरोध प्रर्दशन जारी रहेगा
