तावडू, शहर के बाईपास पर स्थित खंड विकास एवं पंचायत कार्यालय में शुक्रवार को पंचायत समिति चेयरमैन व वाईस चेयरमैन पद का चुनाव एसडीएम की अध्यक्षता में किया गया। जिसमें खोरी कलां के पंचायत समिति वार्ड नंबर 10 के निर्विरोध बने हसन मौहम्मद व वाईस चेयरमैन वार्ड नंबर 29 गांव भंगोह निवासी हीरा निर्विरोध बने। हसन ने बीजेपी ज्वाईन की हुई है, जबकि क्षेत्र की बहुत सी सरदारी का आशीर्वाद व सहयोग लेकर उन्होंने जिम्मेवारी का पद संभाला। हसन मौहम्मद ने कहा कि वह क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए सदैव तैयार रहेंगे और सबको साथ लेकर विकास कराएंगे। चुनाव प्रक्रिया में शुक्रवार को 29 में से 18 सदस्यों ने भाग लिया। उक्त के निर्विरोध चेयरमैन-वाईस चेयरमैन बनाए जाने पर जमकर आतिशबाजी चली व पूरे शहर से जलूस निकाला गया। इस दौरान क्षेत्र के वरिष्ठ समाजसेवी चौधरी जावेद अहमद के अलावा क्षेत्र की सरदारी मौजूद रही और बताया जा रहा है कि चेयरमैन व वाईस चेयरमैन निर्विरोध बनाने में इनकी विशेष भूमिका रही।
तावडू में ब्लाक समिति चेयरमैन हसन मौहम्मद व वाईस चेयरमैन हीरा निर्विरोध बने।
