सोहना जिला उपायुक्त निशांत कुमार यादव ने कहा कि हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा विभिन्न कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के माध्यम से गांवों की हर बुनियादी जरूरतों को ध्यान में रखते हुए विकास कार्य किए जा रहे हैं। ग्राम संरक्षक योजना भी इसी कड़ी का अहम हिस्सा है। उन्होंने कहा कि ग्रामीण समस्याओं से अवगत होकर उसका निदान करने के लिए मैं सदैव तत्पर हूं। जिला के गांवों में बिजली, पानी, सड़क, शिक्षा सहित अन्य मूलभूत सुविधाओं की समस्या का निदान करना मेरी पहली प्राथमिकता है। डीसी श्री यादव आज प्रदेश सरकार की ग्राम संरक्षक योजना के तहत स्वयं द्वारा सोहना खंड में गोद लिए गांव गढ़ी बाजिदपुर में किए जा रहे विकास कार्यो की समीक्षा करने पहुँचे थे। उनके इस दौरे में अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त विश्राम कुमार मीणा भी उनके साथ थे।
डीसी श्री यादव ने सर्वप्रथम गांव में पहुँचकर गांव के राजकीय विद्यालय में किए गए विकास कार्यों का जायजा लेने के साथ साथ स्कूल के सभी कमरों का भी निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान ग्रामीणों ने उन्हें बताया कि स्कूल में स्टाफ व लड़को के लिए शौचालय की आवश्यकता है जिस पर उपायुक्त ने अपनी सहमति प्रदान करते हुए जल्द ही इस कार्य को डिस्ट्रिक प्लान से करवाने का आश्वासन दिया। इसके साथ ही ग्रामीणों द्वारा स्कूल में अध्यापकों की कमी पर उन्होंने कहा कि इस विषय में जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी से बात कर गांव के नजदीक जहां कही भी किसी स्कूल में सरप्लस स्टाफ होगा आपकी आवश्यकताओं के अनुसार उनका यहाँ स्थानान्तरण किया जाएगा।
ग्रामीणों ने डीसी श्री यादव को बताया कि गांव में स्कूल के पास स्थित जल घर में सफाई व्यवस्था ठीक ना होने व कोई मुख्य मार्ग ना होने के चलते ऑपरेटर को रोजाना एक तरफ की दीवार लांघ कर अंदर जाना पड़ता हैं। ग्रामीणों की मांग पर डीसी ने खंड विकास एवं पंचायत अधिकारी से कहा कि ग्रामीणों की समस्या को ध्यान में रखते हुए जल्द ही जल घर में अंदर जाने की व्यवस्था करवाएं। उपायुक्त ने इस दौरान तालाब प्राधिकरण द्वारा गांव के तालाब के जीर्णोद्धार व सौंदर्यीकरण के विकास कार्यों, गांव की चार आंगनबाड़ी, शमशान घाट, प्राथमिक विद्यालय, गांव में नवनिर्मित नॉलेज सेंटर का भी निरीक्षण किया।

उपायुक्त ने इस दौरान ग्रामीणों को हरियाणा सरकार की फ्लैगशिप योजना यानी परिवार पहचान पत्र व उससे जुड़े फायदों के बारे में अवगत कराने के साथ साथ आयुष्मान (चिरायु) कार्ड बनवाने के लिए भी प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने बताया कि इस योजना के तहत लाभार्थी परिवार को प्रदेश के 75 प्राइवेट व सरकारी अस्पतालों में 5 लाख रुपये तक की मुफ़्त ईलाज की सुविधा मिलेगी। गुरुग्राम ज़िला में 32 प्राइवेट अस्पताल इस योजना के तहत सूचीबद्ध हैं और योजना का दायरा बढ़ने से अब और निजी अस्पताल भी पंजीकरण के लिए आगे आएँगे।
